Monday 8th November , 2010 : |

- Mr. Mian Khuda Buksh, Former Additional Secretary (Regulation), Government of Punjab
conducted two workshops on “Operational Communication” and “Office Procedures and
Disciplinary Actions”.
- The Director General NIM Karachi and faculty members hosted a lunch in the honor
of Director General, the faculty members and participants of Mid Career Management Course, from NIM Quetta.

|
- Members of Syndicate-A, B & C gave presentations on Local Study Visit of “State
Bank of Pakistan”
- Mr. Shahid Muhammad Amin, a former diplomat delivered a lecture on “Pakistan in
the Regional and Global Political System”
- Mr. Mushtaq Mahar, DIG (CID), Government of Sindh, delivered a lecture on “Policing:
Past, Present & Future challenges”

Thursday 11th November , 2010 : |
|
|
- A tutorial discussion on “A situation Analysis of Poverty and Poverty Reduction
Strategies with special focus on meeting the targets of Millennium Development Goals
(MDGs)” was conducted.
- Mr. Akhtar Abdul Hai, Joint Director (AERC) conducted a lecture on
“A situation Analysis of Poverty and Poverty Reduction Strategies with special
focus on meeting the targets of Millennium Development Goals (MDGs)”.
- Peer Rating at Course Level for term-2 was conducted.
- Participants also met their respective faculty advisors regarding Individual Research
Papers.

Friday 112h November , 2010 : |
|
|
- Mr. Rizwan Ahmed, a senior DMG officer conducted a workshop on “Public Procurement
Rules in Pakistan (PEPRA)”.
- Mr. Naveed Ahmed conducted a lecture on “Media Activism: How it affects on Public
Policy and Public Service Delivery”.
- The course review meeting for week-7 of MCMC was held the two course coordinators
of the week namely Mr. M. Amir Butt and Mr. M. Ali Shaikh presented the feedback
of the participant of 10th MCMC, about the course
activities conducted during the week under review. The meeting was attended by the
DG and members of faculty, IT wing and Administration wing.
