Simulation Exercise-II on " Basic Health Care at District Level"

• Aim of the Exercise : To develop an in depth understanding among the participants about the importance of health, health policy , systems, and issues involved in the provision of health to all.

• Groups : The whole group is divided in the following composition:

            Syndicate-I (Provincial Committee for Improvement of Basic Health Care in Sindh)

           RAG-I (District Government (Health Care), Thatta.

           RAG-II (Basic Health Unit(Lyari Town)

           RAG-III (Basic Health Unit (Malir Town)

• Three Current Issues Presentations (CIPs) were conducted.
• Participants visited Civil Hospital, Karachi and SIUT.
• Briefing on Simulation Exercise-II was given by the respective faculty members.

Tuesday, 4th May , 2010:

• Mian Khuda Buksh has conducted two workshops on Organizing and Managing Meetings and Office Procedures and Disciplinary Actions for 3 hours each.

Monday, 3rd May , 2010:

• Three CIP were conducted.
• Mr. Khuda Buksh conducted a session on Operational Communication.
• Syndicate Incharge of First Term briefed the participants of their respective memebers regarding the Analysis Paper - I .
