Saturday, 23rd January , 2010 : |
|
|
- Rector NSPP visited NIM Karachi, A majlis, with him & NIM employees was held
approximately one hour.
- He conducted a session in 8th MCMC. In his session he emphasized the need &
importance of training of civil servants in Pakistan.
- A faculty meeting was also conducted by him.

- Simulation Exercise - II on "Law Enforcement at Operational Level"
|
|

Thursday 21st January , 2010 : |
|
|
- A session on a Situation Analysis of Poverty and Poverty Reduction Strategies with
special focus on meeting the targets of Millennium Developments Goals(MDGs) has
been conducted by Mr. Akhtar Abdul Hai.
- Briefing on Simulation Exercise-II was given by faculty.

Wednesday 20th January , 2010 : |

|
- Prof. Dr. Waseem , a reknowed professor of Lahore University of Management Sciences(LUMS)
has delivered a Seminar on Evolution of the present Administrative Structures at
Federal,Provincial and District levels formed under the constitution and the impact
of the lingering legacy of the Mughal and colonial periods
- A Tutorial Discussion on From Public Administration to Public Management-from control
to facilitation was conducted
- Basic IT Skills Session was conducted in Computer Labs.

Tuesday 19th January , 2010 : |
|
|
- Mr. Shafiq-ur-Rehman Paracha, Project Director , Lyari Express Way, Resettlement
Project has made a comprehensive presentation regarding the project followed by
suggestions given by participants.
- Participants along with faculty members visited The Taisar Town
- Basic IT Skills Session was also conducted.

Monday 18th January , 2010 : |
|
|

A case study on Lal Masjid - Islamabad was conducted Lt.Col Ijaz Ahmed , ADS gave
a detail briefing on case, its objectives, methdology and some facts related to case.
- The Participants worked with their respective syndicate Incharges for approximately
4 hours and then presented 10 minute presentation by each syndicate & concluded
by sponsor ADS.
- Course Coordinators of Week-2 presented a PowerPoint Presentation regarding the
course activities of week-2 of the 8th MCMC.
